The Gallagher's
Michael can trace his family's roots back over 100 years and,
although they have always been members of the Yorkshire Section of
the Showmen's Guild, they travel all over the North East of England
and Yorkshire.
Michael's maternal uncle John C. Culine was awarded the MBE in the
Queen's 2007 New Year's Honours list "for services to the Showmen's
Guild of Great Britain and to the community in Spennymoor, County
Durham".
'Johnny', besides being the former Mayor of Spennymoor, is involved
in several community projects and has been a long-serving member on
the Committee of the Showmen's Guild's Northern Section where he is
currently the Secretary.
The Wallis's
Andrea's family have been serving the public for over seven
generations; with the Wallis name being synonymous with travelling
funfairs in Lancashire and the North West as well as several
countries worldwide.
Andrea's father David Wallis senior is the Vice-President of the
Showmen's Guild of Great Britain and has played an important role in
bringing the Guild into the 21st Century.
David is also a Trustee of
The Fairground
Heritage Trust, a voluntary organisation whose aims are to
preserve historic fairground equipment, imagery and memorabilia for
future generations to enjoy.
With
links throughout the whole of the North of England and Europe in
addition to countries as far afield as Dubai, South Africa and Hong
Kong; it's easy to see why Gallagher's should be the first choice
for all of your funfair requirements.
